Edwards Wood Products has hardwood sawmills at two locations. One at Marshville, NC, which produces 100,000 board feet per day, and the other in Liberty, NC which produces 85,000 board feet per day. Both of these mills are dedicated to the production of quality grade of most species indigenous to the region. The dry kiln operation began in 1994 and to date has 650,000 board feet of capacity. The 300 hp Hurst boiler uses our own sawdust as fuel to provide the heat source for the kilns. Once the lumber is dried to its required moisture content, it is then re-inspected, trimmed, packaged and painted. At this point, the lumber is ready for distribution into various domestic and global markets. For meeting the latest phytosanitary regulations you have come to the right place.
