Our current chairman, Carroll M. Edwards, founded Edwards Wood Products in 1969. He started his business as a small local pallet supplier in Marshville, NC and through the next several years, the business grew at a steady pace until a major expansion in 1978. This expansion, and a second large expansion in 1989 which added a separate location in Laurinburg, NC, has allowed Edwards Wood Products to become a dominant supplier of pallets and hardwood lumber in the southeast.

To support our production and to better serve our customers, we operate 5 companies with our headquarters in Marshville, NC. A timber company to buy land, harvest and replant trees; sawmills and manufacturing facilities for pallet and lumber production and a trucking company get our products delivered where and when they need to be there.
